Jason Hoffman
Jason serves as the Department Head and Manager for the Carroll
County Communications Center, Jason's knowledge and expertise
with radio communications and emergency medical dispatching
plays a crucial role in all types of critical situations. Jason
remains calm under stress and always dispatches in a clear and
calm demeanor. He is quick to relay crucial information to
responding crews and handles issues quickly and promptly when
they arise. Jason and his team at the Carroll County
Communications Center are definitely some of the best in the
State of Iowa.
Recently, Jason implemented and oversaw a
multi-million-dollar radio communications improvement process
take place for Carroll County. The new radio system included a
county wide update to all portable communication devices, along
with new towers and home base communications system to allow
Carroll County to join the statewide interoperability system.
This new system allows all levels of EMS, Fire, and Law
Enforcement agencies to communicate with each other across the
state and in different regions. An asset to all emergency
entities in Carroll County, Jason's progressive leadership
ensures we have the best communication system availäble. Jason
has proven time and again his knowledge and leadership saves
lives, ensures a rapid and prompt response by emergency
services, and sets a positive environment for all that work with
him.
